Partners for Possibility Impact in South African Education

Have you tried explaining Partners for Possibility’s theory of change and social impact to someone? Have a look at this brand-new video.

Earlier this year, a team of researchers from the Presencing Institute at MIT travelled to South Africa to visit the Partners for Possibility programme and learn about its impact in three of the 600+ schools that have participated in the programme. This video was made by the film crew that accompanied the researchers.

The team’s goal was to study a leading example of active citizenship and asset-based community development and to speak to senior executives and political leaders about the challenges facing education in South Africa.

The team has since produced a short background video of its work, which can be viewed below.

In the video, the researchers chat to the partnerships of Yeoville Boys High, Zonkizizwe Secondary School and Kwena Molapo Comprehensive Farm School. They also chat to former Minister of Finance Trevor Manuel and Minister Jeff Radebe about Partners for Possibility’s work and impact.
